Should I confront her or not?

Just a stab in the dark but maybe the camp friend isn't verbalizing it but is actually jealous that you've moved on? Maybe she's just lashing out at the new friend because she's hurt. I don't know that I would go to her and say anything about the note, but maybe try to reconnect with her again on some level. See if there's any friendship there worth salvaging.
